About The Civility Group, the Etiquette Experts Karen Mallett and Lewena Bayer co-founded The Civility Group Inc. in 1999. Recognized as the leading experts in their field, Lew and Karen are in high demand as convention and conference keynote presenters. They are persuasive, entertaining, and passionate speakers who present on a variety of topics related to current issues in civility, entrepreneurship, leadership, and etiquette. Bayer and Mallett have co-authored six books with plans for a new book on corporate civility to be released late 2008. In 2004, the etiquette ladies were nominated for Manitoba Women Entrepreneur of the year for their success with In Good Company. Their expertise includes work as media spokespersons, moderating, editing, professional writing, facilitating online sessions for Progressive Business Conferences, and mentoring for various programs including work with the American Management Association in conjunction with Columbia University. Mallett and Bayer often volunteer their time speaking and presenting across the country. The Institute is The Civility Group’s head office for the development of cross-cultural etiquette and communication.
